The Doctors
Preference of practitioner
Patients are registered with the practice, not an individual GP. For administrative reasons your medical card will be issued in the name of one of the doctors; however, you can at any time express a preference for a particular doctor, for either all of your medical needs or on a case-by-case basis. This preference will be recorded in your medical notes and we will do our best to respect your choice. However, not all the doctors in the practice provide all services and specific doctors may not be immediately available.
Dr Alasdair Dutton MB ChB (Dundee 1982) BMSc, FRCGP GMC2596226
Dr Dutton joined the practice as a partner in 1987. He is a GP trainer and has a special interest in Diabetes. He also works at the diabetic clinic in PRI and the Out of Hours Service.

Dr Auld joined the practice as a partner in 1993. He is a GP trainer and does minor surgery, acupuncture and the baby checks. He also works as a Forensic Medical Examiner and in the Out of Hours Service.
Dr Bernard Reilly MB ChB (Aberdeen 1986) DFMS, FRCGP GMC3182293
Dr Reilly was a GP in Aberdeen before he joined the practice as a partner in 1994. He has been a GP trainer since 1995 and does minor surgery and acupuncture. He also works in the Out of Hours Service and works as a Forensic Medical Examiner. He has a special interest in educational facilitation.

Dr Docherty joined the practice as an assistant in 2002 and as a part time partner in 2004. She is a GP retainer mentor and has a special interest in womens’ health.

Dr Mahon joined the practice as a part time partner in 2006. She does minor surgery and acupuncture and has a special interest in womens’ health and family planning.

Dr Heath has joined the practice on a part time basis, she is available for consultation on Fridays and Tuesdays

Doctor Sarah Hawco joined us in April 2012 and will be with us until 31 July 2012

Dr Saima Ali joined us at the beginning of August 2011. She will be with us until July 2012.
Dr Jon Beveridge joined us at the beginning of August 2011. He will be with us until July 2012.
